Circuit Training

It’s hard to find anything better than circuits for all-round fitness and co-ordination. They can also help prevent injury by strengthening the larger muscle groups and stabilising muscles. Unlike some other circuit training programmes, the exercises in this session are tailored for athletes.

  • Wednesdays 7:00-8:00pm
  • Mardyke Arena indoor track (2nd floor)

Weight Training

Weight training is an essential part of a successful training program, particularly for sprinters, jumpers and throwers. These sessions are held in the Squad Gym of the Mardyke Arena, under the guidance of Jeff Gomez. Athletes wishing to join the squad gym must contact the club.
