Main Sessions

We have training available for athletes interested in competing in all events, from sprints to long and middle-distance running to field events. Our main training times and locations are:

Distance Runners

We meet at the Mardyke Pavilion at 6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays for our 2 weekday sessions (long runs, tempos, track sessions etc.), as well as Saturdays at 9am at the Farm in Curraheen for a fartlek session. Donie Walsh and Freda Davoren will take these sessions with distance athletes (800m upwards, and Cross-Country).


John Sheehan takes these sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6.30pm, meeting at the Mardyke Pavilion. These sessions cater for distances up to 400m, and include hills, track sessions etc.


We can arrange coaching and training sessions for shot, discus, javelin and hammer throwers. Contact us for more information.
